ABOUT THE MOMENT:

Apart from the clutch, the Unico calibre also features a modular escapement. The modular escapement consists of a balance wheel, an escape wheel, and the escapement itself. Functioning as one unit, the modular escapement can be removed easily with its other parts kept intact. This boils to easier and quicker servicing and removes the need for disassembling the whole movement. Now, in most the timepieces, the dial is home to a flyback chronograph and two chronograph sub-dials. At the 9 o’clock marker is the seconds chronograph and at the 3 o’clock is the 60-minute chronograph. These two sub-dials are placed over a skeleton dial donning the Unico movement.
